Pan fishing is going strong!  Most area lakes are producing some really nice sized panfish.  Sunfish are still running a little more shallow than crappies on most lakes.  There has been talk of large perch on Height of Land Lake.   Walleyes have slowed down a bit.  Northerns have been so-so the last week.  If you are holding out for a monster your chances are pretty slim right now, the smaller ones have been hitting alot harder.

Bait suggestions: Crappie minnows and waxies are hot for pan fish.
Med. Suckers are ideal for northerns.
Rainbows and fatheads have been hot for walleyes.

Be prepared to be mobile on the lakes this time of year.  You may strike it rich and find a spot thats hot right away, but be prepared to travel around the lakes a little to find that special spot!

Feel free to get a hold of me if you have any questions about certain lakes.  I'll do my best to guide you in the right direction!

Good luck and Have fun!
