i got a big buddy heater and was out fishing to day and it would keep going out the polite would keep going out and there was no wind and we used 2 different tanks because we thought one was gone but it still did it on the new take i do use to filter on it is it posssable for them to cloge up it is 2 years old and has had a lot of propane throw it

Hmmm. This is the first season for mine and it has worked well. When I bought mine the choices were two different hoses - one with filter as part of hose and one with cheaper hose and separate filter. I bought the green (filtered) hose. The only thing I can think of is to contact the mfg and see if they can give you some direction. Not sure what the warranty is.  Sorry I can't be more help.

The issue is almost definately the thermocouple or a partially clogged pilot light hole.

Go to there website and you can download the manual or pull out your manual and there is a trouble shooting guide.

so i used it agin and did not give me any problems must of been something clogged up a little bit and now is open so i hope its gone for good now lol

Ive heard people having issues with water/ice in the hose...  Im sure thats what it was.....
