the dead sea produces a nice muskie.
On rare occasion Dave will lay down the Golf clubs and pickup a fishing rod.? When he does, some amazing things happen!
 
This "monster" Musky was 50 inches long and estimated at 40 lbs plus.? It was caught on the north end of Mille Lacs in 8 feet of water on a Silver Musky Shad Rap.
 
It was released to fight another day!
 
A second Musky was hooked but won the tug of war with brother Jim Wester.? A 38 inch Northern was boated and released.?
 
The experts claim the new state Musky record will come out of Mille Lacs this summer.? It has to top 54 lbs to break the record.? Dave sez he's giving up Golf and going for the record.? He plans on chasing Muskies until freeze-up.
