This week the last of the snow is melting in SD and the pheasant population has faired very well.  We had lots of cover and food in our area that help them make it through the winter.  I am a farmer in NE South Dakota and if anyone is looking for a place to hunt this fall get in contact with me.   dweedy85@hotmail.com

Boy, if not put me on the list as well please.

Good to hear the pheasants are alive and well after this winter.  I got a little scared when I seen all kinds of dead birds the last time I was there in December.

This might be a little early, but maybe we could get a few guys together for a trip next season. If there is a fee we could split it. Just a thought.

We farm/hunt just south of Aberdeen, South Dakota.  We also do charge a fee.  Feel free to email me if you are interested or with any questions you may have. dweedy85@hotmail.com

It is astounding how that country can support as much wildlife as it does. I walked over to the top of a big gorge and although I was loaded I just watched in amazement as the whole hillside seemed to lift up and fly to the other side. This is from a mid December hunt in Winner. A pile of birds like this is really heavy.
