Your right you are mamber #101. There were 6 accounts deleted, before we made the site public, we had a few test names (6) that we were using to check for any problems, not realizing that when we deleted them, it also used that member # and skipped over it.

When I did the drawing today, i used 106 as the member count, not sure if we can ever adjust the #'s to be in order again or not?

As far as I could tell, the member list is alphetibetical for every member, did you find a way to make them by #?

If you go to the member list and then click the column heading that says Date Registered, it will sort the list in that order.

If you do that rapala guy shows up as the 95th one on the list.  Which would make sense (101 minus the 6 test ID's)

Joe you showed up 15th.

Mine is 21.

PERCH PRINCESS shows up as the 100th registered name.

My only question for Spinach is "does the name ADMIN count?"

I knew there had to be a way to show them in order.

We reserved the member name "Admin" for all the administrators, just in case you get out of hand and the admin has to crack the whip, I'll just say that he is one mean son of a B. that way you don't get mad at me. ;)

The Admin is about 7 feet tall and 400 pounds, he makes the "Rock" look little, be careful not to get on his bad side. ;D

Thanks for showing us how to sort the member list. :)

So the answer would be "ADMIN counts, quite significantly, and don't you forget it" ?

Where are you guys seeing the #'s of the members? When I go to the member list it automitically lists them in alphabetical order, if you click on date registered it shows them in order but no member #?

I've been trying to figure out the secret myself. Only think I can come up with is if you put your mouse on someones name look at the bottom of the screen or click on someones name at the URL above will have a number at the end. Kinda a round about way of getting the info but it works. That is the only thing I have come up with.

Just set your mouse clicker over my name, then look at the bottom left.

u=101

Another way I can explain it is, as you move towards a name, as soon as you get there, SOMEWHERE on your screen you should see some script pop up. There it is...

When you slide your curser over any link, the url shows up at the bottom of your browser. When I put my curser on my name the last number to show up is 16. I don't know if this is the actual member number though.

Thanks, got it now.

Admin shows up as u=1
Spinach as 3
Mayfly as 4
and so on

But there is no #2

That's why I show up as the 21st name on the list (if you sort by date and then count as you go down the list of names) but my u# = 22.

So Rapala guy your u# would be 101, but you are the 100th name on the list.

We'll probably never know why unless Spinach or Mayfly can tell us what happened to #2.

When the site was created,

"Admin" was #1
"Tim" was #2
"Spinach" #3
"Mayfly" #4

Tim is Mayfly and he decided to go with Mayfly. We deleted the account "Tim" not knowing it would skip over the #2, we wanted to have an accurate count of members, there were 5 other "test" id's that were being used in the first few days too, as an Administrtaor, there are quite a few more options and permissions, we needed to see the site as the member sees it, so we created "test" id's, again not realizing when the account was deleted it skipped the member #.

This is something we will be looking into and fixing if at all possible.

That explains it pretty well.
So ...
I say we just go with the theory of :
The numbers are a little off and "It's all Tim's fault"  ;)
