hey guys i was just out fishing in the boat today and i noticed myself lookin more at the ducks that were flying into and around the lakes i was at there was lots of different birds a lot of the normal mallards woodies pins shovels bluebills and geese along with some i don't see that often while i'm hunting like snows ringnecks hooded mergansers reds and cans lots of different birds all decked out in full colors really good lookin!!!

Up here I've been seeing more Canadians and Snow Geese than I've ever seen before.  But that might be because I live in (under) a migration path and I have been looking for them this year.   ;D

you must live in the western part of the state then cuz thats where the only flyway in minnesota is lol how was hunting over there this year??

i saw about 30 blue bills on a small little pond yesterday it was fun to see them moveing back in lots of ducks around right now just fun to go out driveing around and seeing them

We've had 2 pairs of Hooded Mergansers and 2 pairs of Wood Ducks hanging around in the pond by our hourse for the last few weeks.  Oh and tons of Mallards.

The spring migration shifts more Easternly than the fall migration.
Where I'm from calling, flagging and decoying are just basic skills and the kids will do a little guiding just to pay off some bills.

was out fishing today and saw 4 or 5 loons it was kinda cool to see them up close and personal at one point on was right next to our black bouy prolly thought it was his/her mate lol
