thats pretty neat but it only takes me a couple minutes to clean a bird. i usually just breast them.

Yeah,but you gotta admit its pretty quick and it leaves the wings on for transport.

This thing is really sweet,Top Gun Guide service had 3 of these units bolted down to a table,they went thru over 100 birds in 45 minutes...I think they were charging $3/bird for their clients,bagged and tagged.

That is pretty slick.

I don't know about waterfowl, but I know that with just about any upland bird you can just stand on their wings and pull their feet - does the same thing that the bird hitch does.

Don't know if I could spend $150 for one. But it looks cool. Whats happens to it after a lot of birds.

It is a pretty slick little deal but for waterfowl I like them plucked with the skin on. I just don't like the idea of breasting as to me it seems like a waste but it is faster.

Hats off to ya if you can pluck a snow goose...We breast'em and grind'em into sausage,sometimes jerky...Quicker the better.

I never had a problem but I'm guessing it's because I've never done spring birds. They clean better in the fall.

when i was down by jamestown this weekend one of the guys had a birdhitch and it worked awesome. we always just breast our birds but we live in an appartment and they dont like feathers all over the parking lot..plus it would take us more time to pluck them than it would be to kill them. The again we hunt 3 or 4 days a week in the fall and if i had to pluck them im prety sure i would only hunt one day and jsut give up

If you hunt alot and bag alot of birds this deal is the ticket,unlike canda's,spec's and mallards,what makes snow geese so hard to pluck is their thin skin and pin feathers,spring or fall their tuff to pluck,"bird hitch is the answer" the guy that invented it was at our motel (good for me ) I'm a slow learner could'nt quite catch on until the end.He was selling'em for $110 each.
