Yeah just a few miles north of myr mar on the west side of 169, got a cabin on it, looking to put dock in asap.

The girl and i fished it last october and did pretty good considering we never seen the lake and had no map of it either! got some nice pike and some bruser largies !

Yeah, were the cabin just off the landing. Its a fair lake with big eyes and crappies, many 9 pound walleyes in the winter and 1+ pound crappies. Pictures and back in the hole for the eyes. Big bass, both large and small mouth as well, and pike can be big, lots of small ones tho, good for pickling. Sunnies and rock bass are numerous as well. Just up there, still 26 inches of good ice after snow melted. Cought a bunch of bait sized perch.

I might have to let you take me up there this year when those big eyes start going ? I liked the struckure i found with the humminbird! I fished that far south western bay with big buzz baits and that's where i got most of my fish , only fished it a few hours if that!

Mainly fish it in the winter...Trout fishing up north and down south all spring/summer/fall minus eye/bass opening weeknds, maybe. In the proscess of remodeling the fish house now. Lots of damn asian biting lady bugs =/

DH, my uncle told me he will be up at our cabin off the NE side of the big pond located on Long Lake this weekend. If he actually goes up there, and doesn't bail, I will let you know what the ice conditions are. We're planning out the dock situation as well, for some reason I always get the deep end 'cause I have the chest waders! :scratch:
