4-3-09 Detroit lakes area quick update
I just wanted to give everyone a quick update.

Sunfish are still hitting on area lakes...but BE CAREFUL!!!!   Most of the guys are using waxies to obtain them.

A lot of the ice in the area is getting soft, the foot+ of wet snow we got earlier this week is really taking a toll on the ice.  Shore line's are starting to open up, there is still a lot of ice out on the lakes, but soft spots are really starting to happen.

If you venture out, stay safe and good luck!  Lets keep our fingers crossed that open water is on its way SOON!!!!  I personally can't wait to get the boat out!  :fishing:
