Well I finally get my buck back from the taxidermist and hung it in the living room :woot: :woot:
I don't think my wife will notice when she gets home. :whistling:
I think the taxidermist did a great job.  He said that he could have fixed the big scare above his eye and nobody would be able to tell.  He also said that he could make a brow tine to match the other side.  I decided to keep the scar, and the broken brow tine.  This buck was a fighting machine.  We took a picture that we took the day I shot him with and the taxidermist nailed it.  It looks identicle to the picture. :happy1:
He looks just like the day he died.  All I have left to do is convince the  :queen2: to let him stay right where he is and to give him a good name.  Any suggestions?

Good luck on your wife not noticing it. Maybe u should put greenery around it or a wood theme then she won't notice it.   :deer:

I think she might have something here....make the deer look more like it's in it's natural surroundings by adding some brush and stuff (greenery) around it.  If you put up enough of it around it, she might not even notice the mount!  ;D  :rotflmao:

"Lucky" would be a good name... "Lucky" to have it in the house..."Lucky" to not be put out on the couch...and "Lucky" to have a place to put it when your wife says "get that damn thing out of here"
Take a kid hunting and fishing... It'll be the best thing for generations to come.
