DNR Regulations for 2009 on Mille Lacs are the same as last year.  Release all Walleye 18" through 28".  Possession Limit is 4 with 1 over 28".

Night Closure:  No one may night fish from 10 p.m. through 6 a.m. starting at 10 p.m. on May 11 and ending at 12:01 a.m. on June 8.

Look for the daytime bite to take place on the in shore break lines and shallow rock reefs.  The north sand offers good action early on in the season.  Drift these areas using live bait rigs with a leech or nightcrawler.  Keep it simple and move slow and cover some ground.

Good Luck :happy1: Be Safe and we'll see you on the water!
