Looking at 2 different bows. One is a Diamond "The Rock" the other is a PSE Bow Madness XS.
Looking for any opinions on these 2 bows or suggestions on a few others. Looking for a smooth, lightweight, shorter bow. Any comments are appreciated.   :archery:

Mathews dxt is where it is at when it comes to lightweight bows, since it is last years model, you can find them pretty inexpensive.

MN RACK ATTACK,  The two bows you are looking at are great bows.  In comparing "The Rock" and "Bowmadness XS" you will find similar features that include a modular adjustable single cam for draw length, 6061 aircraft aluminum risers and sealed ball bearings both in the cam and idler wheel.  But I think you will notice a difference in feel beings the XS has much more of a parallel limb design.  The XS also has an asymmetric cam which helps with providing  more of a level nock travel.  Price wise the XS is $100 more than a Rock, but my best suggestion is to shoot the crap out of both bows....and maybe throw a few others into the mix before making your buying decision.  I am confident you will be pleased with either bow.  But you need to know which bow is going to be right for you....don't listen to anyone else when it's time to lay down the cash because it's all about what you want.
