Northwest winds greeted Mille Lacs anglers on a cool Saturday morning.  My group was on the water at 7 a.m. and eager for that first bite.  We had 4 walleye in the box by 10 a.m. and a few overs.  The North shore sand was hot in the early afternoon for my party picking up 8 more slots for a limit of 12 walleye!
By 3 p.m. the Full Moon phase of a mid-day bite provided the action in 18'-20'.  Water temp was 48 degrees.  The fishing should continue in these areas throughout the week.

I have openings on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday & Saturday.  Take advantage of the MNoutdoorsman discount ($200 for an 8 hour day)!

See ya out on the water,

It was slow as well off Big Point,we caught all bigger fish (over 20"s up to 25"s) in deep water? as did everyone else around us,29fow on the transition.Males came @ dark as we moved to shallow rocks,"still milking",the best is yet to come. :woot:

was a lousy weekend for us. we only boated 1 eye and that was the 26 inch one i caught off of big point in 9FOW. we had lines in at 12:01am and the fishing was really slow, caught 2 rock bass and lost 2 other fish. we fished around doe island. seemed most of the boats were on garrisons side of the lake.

Yeah, boats were scattered all over, after 6pm "shaws reef" really filled up,I was on the USS Nimitz  aka "The Experience 2.0" from the warf, you must of herd us (not to my liking) but fun non-the-less,we anchored just off shore @ dark in 9fow saturday night, folks up and down the shoreline dock fishing were catching fish, lots of woopin and hollering goin on.We managed 7 keepers and a few over the slot earlier in deep water.

The fish must have been tight up to shore, that water is maybe 2-3fow off the docks.
