I'm all about good cheap reels. For years I was buying the Cardinal series reels made by Abu Garcia but this year I switched it up. I was at Fleet farm the other day and picked up a Shakespeare Intrepid for $19.99. Openeing day I used that reel and I have to say I was very impressed. For 20 bucks you cannot go wrong! I still love the cardinal series reels but for about 15 dollars less you can get a heck of a reel that perfroms pretty much the same.
