Fishing is starting to slowly pick up.  If the weather stays nice like this the eye's will be on the prowl!  Few people have been having luck the last couple days getting nice eyes.  Maybe are using shiners, rainbows, fatheads or leeches.

Crappies are starting to come alive too!  They are still running pretty shallow.  Baits of choice have been crappie minnows, crawlers, and small leeches.

If you are a Northern fishermen they are starting to pick up also.  Smaller ones are biting as of right now, but a few days of sunshine and warmth and they will be on the prowl too!  Many people are using suckers in the 3"-5" range.

Bass are still stiking.  Hopefully it will stay that way for a few more days and we can have a great opener!

If anyone would like any more information on the Detroit Lakes/Frazee area lakes just let me know!

And as always.....good luck and have fun!

Nice looking Crappies!  :happy1: Making me hungry for the first good meal of the season!  Maybe I'll have to sneak out and do some fishing this week.
