Fishing has slowed a bit in the last week with all the storms and wind that have come thru.  The excessive winds have turned up some of the area lakes making it harder to find nice fish.

A majority of fish are being found in deeper waters as the temps continue to increase.

Leeches, fat heads, and small suckers are working wonders with the eye's if they are hungry.

Crappies and monster blue gills have been caught on many area lakes.  I'm hearing from alot of fishermen that they have never seen blue gills this big before.  They are all using crappie or fatheads for bait.

Crawlers are stil working good on all panfish.

Med-large suckers are keeping the Northerns well fed.

If the wind will ever die down and give the lakes a little time to settle fishing should be awesome again...there were nothing but great reviews coming in before the wind picked up.

do you have shiners or spot tails? 

True on the gills there are some monster bulls to be horsed...

At the moment I have none.  We had spots early in this summer but our last batch was golden shiners.  With the temps being so high they have had trouble trapping them.  Hopefully tomorrow They will have good news and have some again.  I'll post as soon as I get some in.
