Hey guys. Have been checking the cameras weekly, and was wondering what you thought of this pic.  We have gotten lots of coyote pics before, but I was wondering if there were any experts out there who could verify if these are wolves.  The color of the mom is not typical of coyotes that we have gotten before.  Just wondering if anyone knew(if it is possible) for sure. Also seems like pretty big dog.

she looks pretty darn big if you ask me! I would wait for a better pic or what I would really try and do is find a good print in that mud

The pups really look like coyotes to me. If you had a frontal shot of the mother we'd all know! Great shots! If we knew where abouts they were taken that would help!

My guess would be a wolf. She's pretty dark and big for a coyote. The pups have some long legs and big feet it looks like too. But I'm no expert but the only thing I know for sure is that they all would look a lot better dead.
Let the small bucks walk. Don't assume the neighbors will shoot them if you don't. If you shoot him what chance does that buck have to grow......ZERO!

The picture was taken just north of Eau Claire, WI.  Like I said, lots of coyotes in the past but never wolves.

We never saw him during ANY of the seasons.. There was a lot of standing corn left on a neighbors property so I'm sure thats where he was hanging out. I saw him in person while trying to call in some yotes earlier in the week and he sure looks nice! He was also 3/4 mi. away from where my camera was hung so he sure moves around.

I second that. By the shape of the tail on the mother I'd also guess coyote.
