The daytime walleye bite for August is holding its own with water temps reaching 72o. The north mud produced a large hatch of bugs which ended up at our place with the southerly breeze this weekend.  The crank bite in 12 to 14 feet of water just off the inshore rocks was working on Friday for a limit of slots.  The next day out was tough and the bite was off.  The weed line bite has been a bit of a challenge in August with the weed edge not in its normal state due to the cool water temperatures.  All options are on board and keep an open mind and you may score out on the water.

Good luck, be safe and we'll see you on the water!
