I liked the idea last year where each team had their own thread to keep in touch with each other.  I started one for team 8.  Not being too creative I used the same name we had last year.

Clothes were all washed over the weekend and are still hanging outside.  Riffle sited in and driving nails at 100 yards.  Will be getting the food for the season this afternoon.  12 pointer tied up to the big oak out back.  The movie "escanoba in da moonlight"  packed and ready for friday night.  Plenty of wood split for camp fires.  extra batteries for GPS  , and camera packed.  Boss is letting me sneak out early friday morning so I can beat the mad rush north.
Anything that is free is worth saving up for.

I've been so busy with bow hunting the only thing I've done for gun hunting is fire off a couple rounds.  Still hits 2 inches high at 100 yds. so I'm good to go.  What about you FutureDC9, what are your plans for gun season?

I will be bowhunting in Wisconsin this weekend.  The rut is just underway on the farm I hunt on and I would rather tag a buck with a bow than a rifle.  In two weeks Wisconsin's rifle season starts, so I will be out there then.  If I were to tag a buck this weekend with the bow, I may have a little time to get out with the gun in Minnesota before the season closes and Wisconsin's opens.

Good luck team!

Thanks for carrying us thus far deadeye.  That was one heck of a buck.
