I second that.  I really would not want to hear about any of our MNO guys getting hurt or possibly worse.  Take the extra second and be safe this weekend!

Be extra cautious during deer drives.  Just know where everyone is and where you can safely shoot.   :fudd:

And...be careful driving to and from your hunting areas. My Dad called me last night as I was on my way home from work...he hit a big Doe on his way home last night and really messed up the passenger side of his brand new 2010 Toyota Rav4. Luckily he saw her coming up out of the ditch and was able to get slowed down enough and move into the other lane with no traffic coming so he had more of a glancing blow and not head on through the windshield.

I went out and field dressed her for him after the sheriff came out, as he was dressed up from a supper date. I brought her home and hung her in the garage last night, and just finished caping her out this morning. To my surprise, the only real damage was around her left rear hip area so we'll have quite a bit of extra venison if we can still fill out our firearms tags this week too.   :chef:

Be safe everyone, and good luck!

All, just please, PLEASE make sure of what you are shooting at and what might be behind your target.  all the deer in the world aren't worth shooting at if your buddy is doing a drive behind it and you don't know where he is.  Think twice before pulling the trigger.
If a gun kills people then I can blame a pen for my misspells?
