Anyone heading east this weekend?  I will be in the Hurley/Montreal/Gile area.

Where are you going?

Not me.  The Wisconsin Dept of Natural Resources said I couldn't hunt there.  Seems they want the locals to have a chance. :whistling:

I hear you on that one.  To me it's worth it since I get to hunt with my dad and other family members.

Hey Go Big Red!  That is the same reason I drive over 700 miles to hunt with my dad, grandma, sister and other family members in northern MN.  I moved to SD three years ago and continue to hunt in MN.  You can't put a price tag on sharing those special moments with family.  Hats off to you!   :happy1:

Damn right you can't put a price on that.  Life is funny like that, one minute you can hunt with family and the next minute, one member is gone in the blink of an eye......

I will be going to marathon county for wisconsin gun season. Have been hunting there since I started hunting. I didnt get one in MN with my bow so I hope wisconsin gun is a little better.

Well, another Wisconsin Gun Deer season is in the books for me.  Saw more deer than last year which is a good sign considering the "predator" issues in the area I hunt.

Did drop a 2 1/2 year old spike for the freezer and missed a doe.  The doe damn near step on me as she came out of the woods.
