Correct me if i'm wrong.. I believe the beans are gone, mostly anyways. And the farmers having been working around the clock the last week and hitting it hard this week to get the corn out. I think from what a buddy told me we are at where we should of been Halloween weekend.

drove down to Slayton today for a wake.  Starbuck area-most corn still in.  Benson area-5O% out.  Granite Falls area-7O% out. Marshall area-mostly out.  This is my observation from hwys 29 & 59 as far as I could see. Hope this helps!

The reality is that I am going to matter what! It is nice to hear that more are going every day. It's always nice to have an idea of what your walking into. Thanks for the reports!

Hunted the area between Pipestone and Marshall the last weekend in October, seems like almost all the corn was in.  A couple of us are going back the first weekend in December, hopefully the corn will be all out by then.  I know around the Mankato area, the difference between pheasant opener with the crops in and the last couple of weeks has been a world of difference.  :happy1:

The corn was comming down like crazy - I would say 70% down by last sunday. We did ok, but next weekend is going to be good hunting in the southern part of the state.

Guys, if you would report with a general area, like Worthington, Pipestone, Marshall, etc, that sure would be nice of you.

Heading over on the weekend of December 5th to hunt between Pipestone and Marshall.  With the corn hopefully out and one bird allowed per day, I have high hopes.  :happy1:

I was down hunting west of albert lea last weekend.  And there is anywhere from a 18 inches to 2 feet of standing water in the ditches it is very wet and muddy down there.  There is still standing corn in fiellds down there too most of it is cut and gone.  there are alot of feilds that they have harvested but not have been mowed and bailed yet.  I saw 8 hens but only one rooster and he didnt live to see another day.

Been having fair luck in the St. Clair area, but I am hitting mostly private land.
