Come on now. Why would you think the Vike's will only score 17 points. I would give them more credit than that. You must have your reasons I guess :scratch: At least we're are both picking Da Bears :happy1:

I'm thinking Vikings 35 - Bears 6.
This will be a spanking.

This might be a closer game with AP-out sick, not sure if he's out or in yet today but with Favre V.2.0 this year I'm going with:

Vikes=24
Bears=17

Yeah but Lee always gets disoriented and irrational after the fishing season ends. Poor fellow.

Boy O Boy!  If you guys don't beat all. :banghead: I should have figured that when I predicted a Bears victory over the Vikes you'd jump the gun and figure it was for today's game. :bs: My prediction was for the Monday night game on Dec 28th at Soldier Field. It's enough to make a guy tear his hair out the way you guys get things mixed up. :taz:

Hey Lee.... youve been quiet about tonight's game!? :scratch:  Thing is... I have a feeling the Bears are gonna give the Vikes a shot to the chin tonight.... dont know if they(Da Bears) can pull off a win, but, I still dont think we've seen the Vikes at their worst yet.... ponder these factors: its at soldier feild,  gonna be nice and cold out, its on grass, and the Vikes are reeaaly good at playing down to the level of their competition.(no disrespect intended)  Ive got a good friend who's a huge Bears fan, and he looked at me like I was crazy when I told him of my doubts, and he questions why Im not on board with the Vikes when of all the years I should be, it would be this year.   :whistling:  All I could say is, Its the Favre factor... (also known as "FF")  "Im watching this season from a "safe distance" ".... Im removed emotionally from football until Brett permanently retires(well, at least from the Vikes).  for me, Its the same feeling I had when the North Stars left for Texas, :banghead: :bs: :banghead: :oops1: :tequila; and I was faced with being a Stars fan :puke: or siding with a new team.... :doah:  just a sorry arse situation.... like being in limbo to the 4th power.  The strange thing is, I've actually been enjoying following them more this year just because Im removed from them, and I dont get too worked up after a loss or a bad game...  I do find it amusing seeing most of the fans all pumped up all year, talking super bowl before the playoffs even start! ;D And I say to myself, How long have you been a Vikings fan, and are you also into self mutilation?  ;):rotflmao:  Anyways, May the best team win tonight... we'll see which team is made out of what....

I think it's going to be a tough game for both teams, however the Vikes will come out victorious with a final score of 28-14.

*A meaningless sidenote-I helped build the bleachers they added a few years ago at Soldiers Field.  Not very often a "cool" job like that comes by.

It's my opinion that the upper mgmt who keeps hiring coaches like Denny Green, Mike Tice, and this current coach, Childress, is what's keeping the Vikes from winning the big game.

Childress called all those 1st half plays keeping them all tight.  The let the master, Favre, take over and spread it out in the 2nd half.  Good effort but too late.

Management and coaching staff has been this teams achillies heal for YEARS and now with Childress' extension, it will quite a few more years.  I say pay him off and get a marquis coach just like they finally got a marquis QB.
If ya don't know where ya are, go back to da beginnin.

The offense stepped it up in the second half.  30 points should be enough to win a football game if the defense does their job.  The Vikings defense has been pathetic the last three of four games.  Winfield got his a$$ handed to him last night.  The pass rush was pretty much non-existent.  This loss falls squarely on the defensive players' shoulders.  Of course it doesn't help matters when your star running back can't hang onto the ball.  I cringe every time Adrian runs with the ball for fear of another fumble.
