You guys got it wrong.... that gal darn gun is mine(slight reference to a paul mcartney/mj tune )  The two pats shot last weekend, did both good and bad, pat #1 said he may re-shoot a 38 he got, so he may go also... Id go with Cody on Saturday, but Sunday is gonna be better for me I think.... Yeah it did go by fast didnt it? Bad: because the shooting fun is nearly over....   Good: because that means fall is approaching fast!

the fall... my favorite time of year.. this year will be best of all.. because after I win that gun I get to go shoot a monster muley.. then come back in time to get the kids first deer

That does sound like a good fall.... Ive been a good boy all year and havent used up any PTO since Feb. so Ive got a surplus saved up for this fall...   Ill be up there at 10 or a bit earlier... Pat is going up to reshoot also.  I think coolers full of cold stuff (for after the shooting ) will be called for, being its gonna be a warm one out and it being the last scoring round of the year... but Ill be saving the good cigars for the banquet that Ill hand out after I win my gun certificate...

Beeker.... I wont get upset... just as long as ya dont laugh too loud when I do end over end flips up to get my gun certificate from Chris & Debbie...   I tallied up our seasons stats, got Averages and etc. ... soon as Cody shoots, I'll put our totals on here if you guys want....

im getting up there sometime this week before i leave this weekend for mille lacs. didnt get out on saturday because i had to put a new radiator in the truck and you all know how thats goes....never goes the way you plan it. also have to put brakes in the truck this week as well so i think im going to hit it on thursday

Targets were good.  Start on the Blue first and clean up with the Green.  Last station on Green, shoot the right target first and then come back for the left.

Good advice on that last station Red...Thanx for going first on that one...   That and maybe put in a Mod tube on the first station, then Skeet the rest of the way..... geesh!  First it was just being thrown under the bus.... now its the short bus that he rides on! Thats just plain mean!  Glad I didnt throw anyone under a bus...   Cody... that was a 48 gotten without nary a chip OR a chunk called... well. ok maybe a chunk... but thats waaaay better than a chip!

we had a good time.. and watching the mr. pout shoot a 48 was half the fun. we had to "distract" him towards the end, didn't know red was that good of a dancer but he can do an irish jig better then bono.

I'm thinking pout slept with that score card under his pillow that night..

Man.... if one of us wins a gun certificate, you will never wipe the   eating grin off their (my? ) face... and will never hear the end of it!  Red... youre being too easy on us.... if you win one of the guns, you should MAKE us carry it to your car, or maybe have us carry you to your car on our shoulders.... hey, someone from Team Boomstix is due!  Zeke said they were giving away another Henry Golden Boy for the game participation raffle again.... would love to win that pretty little gun also... Ill take anything... Im not picky! Cody when ya go, get yer banquet ticket... are you gonna get off work that Sunday for the Banquet?

Sept. 12.....  Beeker, couldnt put it under my pillow.... cause I framed it and put it on my wall.   I looked up my league high scores there over the last 10 yrs.  Thought Id shot a 48 before, but I didnt... have never broke a 47 till Sunday .... I think you guys should've given me two mulligans being Saturday was my B-day! Where's the love?

I'm living the high life... had a tooth worked on today. all I can say is hooting and hollarin is not our style I believe it would be more of a dignified hand shake and a "good show ol' boy"...

I think we better come up with some kind of a touchdown dance to do if one or more of us wins something.... better yet... I think it would be more fitting if we do the Twins walk off-home run/winning run "pummeling" that the team gives to the guy crossing home plate... that is with the exception of when I win my gun....   Oh yeah, Beeker, I kind of lied.... I didnt sleep with that scorecard under my pillow, and I didnt frame it and slap it up on my wall in the ole man cave/gun room/trophy room, (#1, I dont have one, & I wont till I shoot a perfect 50...) BUT I did put it on the fridge next to my "drawrings".....

Well, the end of the season is upon us.  What is everyone's plan for Sunday?

Clays start @ 930 and games @ noon.

not sure what games they have going on.. I'm thinking show up around noon shoot sporting and stay for a pork chop dinner, and hopefully a door prize

Noonish sounds pretty good....  About two hrs to shoot 100 targets, that leaves ya about two hrs for games, an hour to eat, and another hour to win a gun, gloat, and smoke a big ole cigar!   I think they usually have the two man honker flurry, fast and furious(drop as many as you can in 30 or so seconds) and long shot.  A few others, but I cant remember. Cody.... did ya get out to shoot?  I think ya better call in sick, cause when(not if) one of us gets a gun you will never hear the end of it.... it'll be "yeah, remember when I won Cody's gun that year?"   Remember, bring a camp chair and a filled cooler.... cigars are optional,  I was asked to extinguish a cuban one year as there were children present... (we were outside! )  thats why ya need camp chairs.... to get a bit of elbow room....   I wonder if we won our division?  It was really close for 1st after the 7th & 8th rounds..... drum roll please!   Ill put our avg's on here... (Cody, what were yer last two scores?)
