Thats too bad Cody.... but for what its worth, be glad ya have those jobs... its something alot of us take for granted... I know I dont.... I went from being nearly jobless/ on the burner for over six months to having half our engineering staff left and am covering 2-3 shifts and not being able to take time off.... not complaining though, that is until I get denied getting time off this fall.... that'd be cruel and unusual punishment! :taz:

well they have been running me into the ground lately with a new building opening on the one and getting the area ready for the Big DU event they having on thursday at the other one, its nice i wont have to work both of them next summer, i am thankful i have them but sometimes i wonder, i work so hard and long that i dont have much of a social life anymore let alone any freetime to go hunting, i fit that in when ever i can only if it is for a hour sometimes.

And you'd better bring two spare tires.

Cody.... we got some hardware for ya! :woot:  GOLD MEDAL... 1st place in our class.... you should have been there.... green hornet targets (fun, fun, fun!) and my best shot of the year(the guys will back me on this, i think ;)...) slow rolling rabbit target.... I purposely waited till that thing was tipping over and got it with one B-B.... I saw two chips fly, Beeker went and got the target and it had one hole in the center... (I swear I saw two chips :whistling:)  We shot the second round with low guns and it was a "trappers choice" free for all... Team Boomstix loaded up on the prizes... I won $10, Pat won a plasma cut picture frame... :happy1: :rotflmao:  no guns!  Let me know if/when/how I can get your golden neck hardware to ya.... it'd look pretty sharp around your neck workin at the game farm, eh? ;D

Sure Pout, I'll back you.... with my foot in your  :moon:  That was one great time watching Beeker "fetch" your dead rabbit.  Wonder if he'll fetch us beer next time?

:rotflmao:  Had the helmet on for that one.... saw it coming a mile away!  That was hilarious... Ill never know exactly what it looked like, but for some reason when that really slow rabbit wobbled out there, and I mean wobbled, I just made up my mind that I wasnt gonna shoot at it till it was tipping over... man, I lost it when Beeker ran over to get the clay, I thought I had smucked it, then he picks it up with a hole in the middle and a little chip on the edge... way to funny... :doah:  Yeah Beeker may not have read the team Boomstix "Rule Book and instructional manual" all the way thru..... rule #2 clearly states that the shooter with the highest average for the year brings the beer the following year.... for the whole season! :toast:  Its the most important rule on the list, only behind #1, there's NO crying/sniveling in sporting clays... ;D

Can I have a drumroll?! ................ Here we have them!  The long awaited Team Boomstix Sporting Clays League end of the year results!  (I know, I know a little slow on getting them on here, BUT I did recieve them via pony express, ok? :whistling:) From top scores to last, total clays out of 500, & avg score out of 50:  Beeker 411/41.19(high score 46)    Pat #1 387/38.7(High score 47)   Thunderpout(me!) 382/38.2(High score 48! :happy1:)    Pat #2 367/36.7(high score 44)    Cody 205/34.1(High score 43) (Cody shot 6 out of 10 rds.)    Big Red 316/31.6(high score 39)    Kevin 263/26.3(high score 35)..........     It was a really fun year, even though I jumped into the clays at the last second, because of work issues, and didnt even shoot registered targets this year.... had alot of fun shooting with you guys this year! :happy1:  Has anyone applied what we learned about wingshooting this year.....?  Not me! :rotflmao: :banghead:  birds are pretty safe around me.... so far that is! :taz: :fudd: training-087 ;)

i just got my nsca schedule for this year in the mail.. need to take a look. I think I'll be doing more tournaments this year... we'll see. I also ordered 4 flats of kamens from a buddy who picked up 2 pallets. if more money turns up I think I'll get 4 more.. (52$) a flat.. can't really reload for that.

Thats a great price for a case of good shells... hard to find even the "bargain" loads for close to that.  Yep... I plan to shoot more this comming season also..... We should get Red & Cody(and who ever else wants to go... maybe a spring get together deal...?) up to Vermillion Trail for that early shoot they have up there, only shot it once, but thats a great way to get the season started and see some kick arse targets at a really nice place.

I think it's 40 per pallet.. ten per row and 4 rows. who knows.. he's one of these guys that married right.. (his wife has $$ and a big pay check) so he plays around like this all the time. he flew out to vegas and texas to shoot sporting clays.
