The walleye bite offshore continues on as the mid lake mud flats is the place you want to be. Start up on top of the mud in the morning and work your way deep as the day goes on. The flats are hit and miss and no slam dunk.  Mobility is the key!!!  It is easy to settle in this time of year and wait them out but….you need to move and drill and work the flat over until you find that hot hole.  Jigging spoons 1/16 and 1/8 oz work best tipped with a whole minnow or head will catch you both perch and walleyes.

Good Luck, be safe and we'll see you on the Ice!
