The mid day walleye bite took a step forward this past weekend with help from the daytime full moon.  We fished the south tip of a mid lake northern mud flat. Jumbo perch are starting to show along with a 13.5 inch beauty.  Just a ton of 6 inchers are on the bite and you need to sort to get a meal.  Fish the 32’ bottom edge of the mud flat where it levels off into the basin of the lake using 1/12 oz jigging spoons tipped with a minnow head.

Good luck, be safe and we'll see you on the ice!
