  • 2013 MNO Fishing Challenge Champ!
Last night my youngest daughter asked to go fishing.  Since it was going to rain and get ugly the next few days I dropped everything and took her out for an hour.  The fishing was a little bit slow and the fish were pretty small.  It was not looking to good until I set the hook and the drag starts to sing.  I was using 2# line and had the drag set plenty loose as to keep anything from breaking the line.  I handed the rod to Autumn and sat back and watched to show.  The fish took several runs and as the fish got back to the hole again I knew it was at the bottom of the hole as the water was going up and down.  Just as I was about to help get the fish out of the hole it got off.  As Autumn looked down the middle hole the fish swam out of the hole right at her feet and scared her.  She screams, I laugh, Take a few pics and return the DOG fish to the water.  She was really excited and had to call MA and tell her that she was attacked by a dog. :whistling:  Only fished a short while, fishing was not good,  but it will be remembered for a LONG, LONG time.
