Lee, Thanks for the blog.  You make 5 posts in the smackdown and you think you know something.  I can't wait to make you eat your words.  :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao:

You say "I think I know something"  Well for once you are correct. I know that I was the one that ordained you king of smack because of your well thought out and witty posts. How quickly we forget to maintain our standards when pressured by those whom have seemed to rattle you with the continuous bombarding of meaningless challenges.

No thanks General, I've already eaten. Everyone knows that quantity of meaningless :offtopic: smacks has become boring and
repetitious.

It's become obvious that speed of frivolous smacks is becoming a priority for those who have lost focus on the original intent of the smackdown. Threats and violence is rapidly taken the place of genuine well thought out smacks.

I myself have chosen to stay on the path of riotousness rather than choose the viciousness route. Quality of Smacks is much more interesting than than the recent method of running up to the smack board and flinging a hand full of animal dung on the board and pounding ones chest.

Hey  :bs:,  (:bs:  stands for Big Slick). It's amazing how during the ageing process how ones memory of current things seem to get lost. But, on the other hand we seem to remember things that happened in the past like it was yesterday.

Well since Lee and his bride will be gone for the next 21 days I thought I would slide over and fill in his spot on the keyboard. As a former world champion Fishing Challenge Champ and proud owner of a ring it's the least I can do. Heck I might even post a few pictures of some fish since all I see here is talk.. Of course the fish won't count towards anything but maybe it will remind you guys what they, the fish look like! :fishing2:

The pictures of fish are on another section this here is the smackdown.  Where all the participants so far in the smack talk have actually posted fish except one I believe.  But we all know Lee has earned the right to talk smack without posting a fish yet.  Plus I'm sure the fish pics are coming.

Speaking of posting fish so far 21 of the 54 members of the challenge have posted a fish which is close to 1/3.  The challenge is also about 1/3 done.  So if the trend continues maybe we will see 42 members posting fish by the end of August.

[/quote] Really! Gee us old timers kind of forget where to post things even if I was the one to think up the idea of the Challenge and if you look you will see that I was the one who started all the strings, well almost all of the strings. As for Lee posting fish, when he returns from his trip he will have a disk filled with them. Only thing is he will have to keep an eye on Borgie so they don't get edited.

Looking forward to some Smack talk, seems like it started off with a bang then kind of sizzled, Reminds of the Generals fishing. Even Big Slick has posted but my good friend Hunterdown has not written a peep. Perhaps I should just look at directing my comments to the good judges. As officials they must have some kind of rules to follow :rotflmao: and before you start I am not fishing this season because of a wrist injury that would not allow me to cast, the wrist has healed sort of but now because I changed my casting style my shoulder is bugging me. Tuff getting old and having to lift heavy fish still.. I was going to post a fish today but the picture by itself weighs four pounds! Hoping to get the whinch installed on the Puddle Humper, then I can bring my catch in just like that crab guys do..

BB,

I'll let you have that one free pass in the smack down to hit me around a little.  But this is your only warning.  Another smack against me and it's on.  No holding back.  I can think of a bunch of different ways to go with just the wrist injury you talk about.   ;D

A free pass!!! aw shucks I think I will hold on to that with my get out of jail card. As for the wrist comment I can see where you would take that, low and crude and not really funny.  Smack talk was set up to be banter between friends after a day on the water. Not making comments about family or twisted remarks that would land you on your kester if you said them in a bar to a stranger you don't know. So I'll tell ya what General. I'll give you a pass this time. :tequila; and Hunterdown is buying everyone a round, I still have his credit card number!  :rotflmao:

Well I guess I wasn't thinking anything perverted unlike yourself.  More like the tennis ball on your walker got messed up causing you to fall and hurt your wrist.  So then you would have some lame excuse to not try and defend/win back that title you talk about in your glory days. :rotflmao:

P.S. I have another tennis ball and would be happy to fix you right up.

P.S.S.  I would love for you to tell me how this is low and crude and not really funny.  But if you would like to change the caption from smack down to love tap I guess I'd have to change my tune.

BB and anyone interested,

Most everyone I talk smack to I have also met in person except Lee and Cody I think.  1) It's just jokes and nothing personal ever meant by it. 2) I would give each and every one of them the shirt off my back if need be. 3) In the words of the esteemed Larry the Cable Guy, "If you can't take a joke you need to go home.................."

4) I'll take the dirt road, it's all I know
I've been a'walking it for years
It's gone where I need to go
It ain't easy, it ain't supposed to be
So I'll take my time
And life won't pass me by
'Cause it's right there to find, on the dirt road

5) I heard that song on the way home tonight and it was in my head. ;D

Boy that was pretty easy, Got the General backpedaling, editing his posts and acting all innocent. As for giving you the shirt off my back well I would not do that unless you were involved in a serious fishing accident and we needed to keep the women and children from viewing.   This morning my thoughts do go out to Lee and Borgie. 90 here in the shade and the flies have been vicious. I fear Lee will return with a few pieces of him missing. But being a former Champ he will of course have fish and tales to tell because as we all know there are only 6 fishermen who have the ring   :queen2: and all the rest are pretenders.

Backpedaling??  No I just don't want you to take your ball and go home again. :rotflmao:

I would be willing to have a poll to allow you to join the fishing challenge and I would vote yes.  You could join up with WLM's team.    Would you like me to Fed Ex or UPS those tennis balls to you?   :rotflmao:

Fish the Challenge... not this year would not be fair to my team, as I can't really cast and it would not be fair to you as I can probably out post the fish you have left handed. As for taking my ball and going home or in this cast a rod I don't have much to prove. Won it all the first year and took 6th last year. I had to go look for you in the standings, ah yes here it is... Last year you finished 16th

In head to head I had a 36 inch Northern you had a 27.25  I had a 18.5 bass you has a 16.0 You did catch a walleye to my none but then I don't fish walleye. This you will  bring up saying you out fished me and I will point out it is a team event... This is also where I point out my ring.. heheheh

As for the tennis balls perhaps you can just give me the ones off your walker?  :happy1: Nice shoes you have on there to. Always wonder why people think I am old.

BB, thanks for pointing out last year.  I didn't realize that in a head to head comp I whooped you up.  I still managed to catch a bass and a northern and I don't fish for them.  I guess now you can have something to strive for.

P.S.  maybe I don't want favre back this year.  He has already won it all and has a ring.

If it would have taken a bigger walleye to beat you head to head I would have.  But it didn't so I didn't feel the need to waste my time to even post the picture of a larger one.

However i am curious, did the wrist injury happen before you whimped out of the competition or after?

So if thats the case I beat you with my bass and my northen head to head so two out of three makes me the winner and you the whiner.

Wrist injury actually happen late last summer, nerve damage from a falling trailer gate that I was told rehabbing would cure. It did till I caught my thumb in some scaffolding this winter. Base of thumb. Don't know how much ya need it till it barks at ya every time you use it. So if you think I wimped out that's your opinion. Better to not enter then enter and take up a space and not produce anything. Thanks for asking about the wrist, I'm sure you really care. :coffee:

Well BB I'm not sure what you're talking about (must be the partimerse kicking in) but this is a triathlon not a biathlon fishing competition.  Just  :surrender: and face it head to head I took you down last year.  Sure you may have won in time spent on the lake, Sharps beer drank, and exaggerating on the size of fish caught.  :rotflmao: :rotflmao:

P.S. Easy on the name calling, or is it do as I say and not as I do?  :coffee:

Geeze general I love how you change the rules.. head to head I posted bigger fish then you in 2 out of 3 catagories. The Challenge is a TEAM event and the Team that I fished with beat yours. So how do you figure you did better then I..

Do I really have to spell out how I beat you (Of course I didn't beat your team).  You and I head to head in my view was my Walleye+Bass+Pike added together beat your Walley+Bass+Pike.

It's ok BB I would have just taken you down this year again anyway.

P.S. Not sure about the jab about the not caring about your wrist , but of course I don't ever want to see people injured and wish you a speedy recovery.

Well General we can always start a little old fishing challege between you and I.. Same rules as the challenge same mim lengths for fish, total inches win.. We can find someone I am sure to come up with a staple item to put in the pictures. Of course this means you would have to start fresh and could not used this years fish or would that be to hard for ya? I mean it would only be fair if we both started with nothing on the stringer :fishing2: Perhaps the #1 Judge or Doug will be willing to do the honors for us?  I'll even wager a dollar because it is not about a prize, just the Smack

I didn't sign my name because I don't teach failure.  The hardest thing for me in regards to smacking you around is hoping you will be able to understand the joke.   :rotflmao:

General You are right about you can't teach failure, Because failure like you can't teach, you are the failure,
As the fishing challenge go you say you fish for walleye then again you fail at that, You try to say your the king of smack but then again you fail at that too, All you do is show us your past photos of growing up.
