I could of sworn I saw a Rooster around here somewhere.....?

Less than a week away and man am I getting anxious! I'm going to run the dog like crazy the next 4 days and then its rest time for 48 hours!

I think I almost have everything in order and its go time!

I had an orange hat laying around the other day and Luci kept picking it up and bringing it to me. Normally she will pick things like that up...usually socks and stuffed animals and she will hold onto them.  Well everytime she picked that hat up she would drop it right at my feet. Kinda funny...I think she is ready too!

I am ready to go also.  This past weekend was spent doing yard chores so I won't have to worry about them once pheasant hunting starts.  I winterized my boat and all went well except I broke the skeg off the motor.  I went up to the gas station to fill up on gas in the boat and had left the motor in the down position to drain out water from my last trip to the lake.  When I got back home, I proceeded to back the boat up my driveway to the garage (inclined driveway) and the skeg caught on the blacktop and snapped off close to the gear case.  I hope they can repair it.  Just one more thing to add to my snafu list.  Who cares - the birds will soon be flying.
I fish not because I regard fishing as being so terribly important, but because I suspect that so many of the other concerns of men are equally unimportant - and not nearly as much fun.? Robert Traver "Anatomy of a Fisherman"

Now my blood is really boiling! Nothing else makes me feel like this. Walleye Opener is close and Deer season is a close 3rd but this is it. I'm excited.
