Preseason fishing report from Lake Osakis

The ice went out on Osakis on April 1st which is anywhere between three and four weeks early.  The water is warming rapidly and the weather is cooperating in a great way.  This means that we are bound to have one of the BEST FISHING OPENERS IN YEARS.   Osakis has always been ranked as one of the premier walleye lakes in the state and this year should be no exception.  Take advantage of the fast early season action by staying at Idlewilde Resort and enjoy our discounted rates for May.  Visit our website and check out the specials.
