Anyone else dying to get out?

We have (I think it's the same) the same nesting Mallards back from last summer.  They dropped 13 into to the pond and 8 made it; 7 hens and 1 drake.

We also get 5-7 drakes on any given evening eating from our "duck feeder".  My son and I pieced together a cedar trough for them to eat from.  He's pretty handy with a nail gun at age 5.

Take a kid hunting and fishing... It'll be the best thing for generations to come.

College kids buying new guns?  Nothing beats throwing a beer party and collecting some funds for new o/u. And by eating coot, you can save even more..... :oops1:

Walleye opener huh.....  Wrong forum!!!!  Have you been  :drinking: already?

Most people who don't come from a hunting background say the same thing, and that's okay.  I was raised around it (mostly deer and grouse hunting) and became addicted to duck season years later.  I have no problem harvesting animals since they end up over an open fire, in a crock pot, or in my dehydrator.

Handle every stressful situation like a dog.  If
you can't eat it or hump it.

Piss on it and walk away
