i had 2 inches of ice on a bucket of water that was left out on the driveway this morning...  and the local golf course had all their ponds iced over.  GO, GO , GO!!!
If a gun kills people then I can blame a pen for my misspells?

I don't have the auger, ice house, ready yet...  Heck I don't even have teh canoe put away yet hoping for one last hurrah on the river!!! But who cares as long as I can fish from the ice bring it on...

Ya know I haven't put gas in the auger and fired it up yet this year either. I did pick up a couple new ice rods and reels and put new line on all of them, but thats about it. I may have to find some time this weekend and clean out the sled from last year.


It's making ice somewhere! :)

I doubt I'm going out west this weekend. I'm going to take both the boys up north and chase some grouse for the day on Saturday.

 ;D? ;) all 3 of the freezers are makeing ice, filled a 5 gal. bucket last nite so that i could check the auger and make sure it works! dont want to wait till the last minute and oops !!!!!!!? it dont work on the lake.? coommee oonn iceeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee !!!!!!!!!!!? ? This AM most small ponds in the area were iced over except the ones that were kept open by ducks and geese. Which was about 1/3 of them. Many were there alot of ducks around this morn.
