Well skipped the morning and got some stuff done around here. Got the boat in the water around 11 and headed out shortly after. Checked a few spots that we plan to slipp bobber this eve and we picked up a walleye in each spot. Not bad for hardly trying. Just using plain hooks and leeches under a slip bobber. The first one came out of 20 feet and the other two were right around 12fow. The lake is flat, no wind, no clouds and the bugs are already bad. Water temp is 58 degrees!! I think we are going to hammer them this eve! Will post a report.

Well as predicted the evening bite was the best. We hit the water around 7ish and the action started about 8. We had three lines out in our boat and at one time we have all bobbers go down within a minute. That was fun! Big E from the food plot forum came along and caught a few nice fish and as I promised took home a limit of eater plus a crappie and a perch. It was a nice night on the lake! Pics and more to follow....

Crappies are moving in. They are starting to fill up the reeds and moving in under the docks. Caught more today then yesterday. Should get better.

Updated report. My Brother is on the lake. Last night he went out by himself for the evening bite and boated 11 walleyes! Its been a good year on the pond! Can't wait to head up next week!  ;D

He was again fishing in about 12 feet of water with a small 1/32 jig tipped with a leech. Slip Bobber  :happy1:

Update from Mille Lacs.... Brother boat did well again tonight for the eve bit. From 8 - 9 they picked up 9. 4 throw backs and 5 in the box. Not bad....

Picking up a few during the day. Nothing too exciting. Best bit was actually in the am slipping rocks.
