I want to give her all the help I can to recover from a day afield, what supplements would you recamend such as some thing for her joints,sore muscles, and to give her energy for the next day.

I would give your dog some glucosamine condroiten (sp?)  This is good for their joints and will help them with their recovery time.

Sorry Benny did't see you thread. I use every time I breed my females 2000 mg of Ester C and start the pups on this regimen (small dose on up to 2000mg) daily until they are 2yr. Ester C builds colligen and replaces lost lubrication in the joints. all older dogs should be on Glucosimine/chrondotin and 2000mg of ester C daily.  As for energy when you are hunting There are dof energy bars you should carry with you and give after a hard work out. I know pro plan has one I have used. If you have anyother question please let me know
