6-19-10  Ok, once again someone has stolen the banners from the front of the store.  Whoever wants to banner their place as Rush Point Store should make an offer and be done with it!  I know we are way cool, but really, buy a t shirt!  Fishing has been awesome, with walleye picking up on the drop offs, in between rain storms.  Must have excited their feeding habits, some nice catches even during the daylight hours.  Sunnies continue to outnumber the crappies, with the docks still being a comfortable and lazy way to spend a day with waxies.  Think I will be going out with some leeches and see what jumps on the hook off the dock...never know!

How is fishing off the public dock up there?
I would like to run up that way and take the kid out after work some day.

The pier on Rush (in Frandsen park) is only good in the early spring. It gets so full of algea or some green floating crap that it looks like you could walk across in the summer. I do not know of any other public piers on the lake.
