The state waterfowl season will open Sat.  Oct. 2nd this year.  Looks like a 60 day season with a six-bird limit.   Looks like 4 mallards with 2 hens allowed in the daily limit although that is not final yet.  With the Oct. opener our teal and woodies again may flee the state if we have any cold fronts the end of Sept.

i hope it dont cool down to much, nothin i enjoy more than blasting some woodies and teal, and they are also great to eat. october 2nd it is. so roughly 66 days until duck opener and only 38 days until early goose. let the SEASON BEGIN!!! how i love fall!

You'll be going on your own then Red. The Rover don't leave 'til around 2000hrs! Remember....can't shoot 'til 0900 and it takes 2 min. to cross the lake.
