I have a bass club tourney on tonka the 16th does anyone have any info for me? I'm wondering what baits have been producing and what type of structure. Going to go up this weekend hopefully and see if I can find a few but a little direction never hurts.
Thanks,
Lee

My sources say the bass bite is pretty good right now .  Topwaters, worms, and jigs fished on the outside edge of weedlines.  Finding the soft to hard bottom transition is the ticket.

I just fished a club tourney on the 28th out there.  The milfoil in 8-14fow has been great.  Frogs over the pads and milfoil have been great.  Aso don't shy away from throwing a senko under docks as thats where i picked up my biggest bass ofth night.  We ended up missing a couple blow ups that would've put us right on top but instead ended up with 14lbs for 5 fish.  two were 4.5 range antw were 2lb and the lt ne was only a barely legal 12" 1lber.  Colors or choice were green pumpkin, black and blue, and black.  Frogs i used the scum frogsin green and white and red and white.  using tungstn 3/4-1oz weights in the milfoil with either a 10" worm or creature bait of some sort.  Hope this helps some what

Thanks guys, I think i'm gonna go try it friday if I can get my boat. My trailer broke on my way home from Illinois this last weekend so I had to leave it there.
Anyone been using a drop shot on tonka or just getting them on a texas rigged worm?
