Heavy metal shot scam

I bought a box of the heavy shot hevi metal 3" no. 4 shot for ducks and sent in the upc and the receit for twenty some dollars and they said it wasn't good for the $10.00 back. I will no longer be buying that stuff.

i had 4 boxes of kent given to me today 2 3/4 4 shot...hhaha what am i suppose to do with shells i probably wont shoot!

You hit that one on the head.  It's principle more than anything else.  Sorry you had a bad experience.

well i havent found black cloud cheaper than 21.99 for 3 inch 3's. sure the coupon didnt say 3-21-10? or maybe it wasnt for that shot nessasarily(sp) i dont know i have never had a bad run in with heavy shot(they make and run heavy metal)

Hmmmm,if you look at the coupon (backside) it says $25 rebate IF you buy one case,not sure where the $10 is coming from? We did have a $10 rebate on hevi shot "duck and goose" loads but not hevi metal,infact this is the 1st year they  (hevi shot) have offered a coupon for hevi metal.

This is true but the $10/rebate is for "hevi shot maximum defense" not "Hevi Metal",the defense load is double 00 buckshot,comes in 23/4" shells and in 5 pack boxes for home defense.

Do you understand the rebates? it can be confusing with all the different loads environ metals has~ Nothing on the market today compares to "Hevi Shot" duck/goose loads period,BUT at a spendy price,but if you do your part on the sending end you'll shoot less and put more birds on the ground with hevi shot.

With that said Hevi Shot needed to be more price competitive with the other high end steel loads like black cloud,winchester and federal ammo,enter "Hevi Metal" and they only offer $25/rebate per case of this ammo ($about $18/box depending on where you buy it after rebate)

I guess it does say hevi shot. Mine was heavy shot hevi metal. To confusing. Plus I went to all the troble to fill that crap out and send it in. I will stick with black cloud or I might try the new waterfowl Fiotchi.

try remington supersonic or whatever its called, the new remington shells 1700fps its crazy fast, but does the job and folds them right up

Even though I hate steel for waterfowl we had to check this stuff out on paper,it looks good at 30yds but like all steel loads there isn't much to talk about at 50yrds in a 30" circle,the pattern was blowin all over outof a modified choke,but it does'nt help with only 11/8thoz of shot payload.Guyz that like Kent should like this stuff~
