Last night I saw 2 does with 3 fawns. Then I heard a weird noise and looked down and there was a mink right below me. The closest water is about 200 yards away. I thought they always stayed close to the water. I also had about 3 to 4 hundred Robins around me. That was a lot of birds. Very noisey.

I saw one last year in a pine forest that was probably about a half mile from any water source. They are a very mobile, quick and elusive animal.
Going South......in a manner of speaking!
