Yes, that is a nice one.  Glad you get some time to go hunting.  I bet it's hard to fit in some hunting when it's your busy time.

I havent been out, but I have been seeing alot of does on the trail cams, and nubbin bucks - none of the big boys, I have a feeling they are all hunkered down after the rut, and I bet this snow and bad weather keeps them bedded for a majority of the time, especially if there is food near their bedding area.
It seems the majority of people are seeing just does and fawns and the occasional small buck - I suppose it all depends on there your located and how heavy the rut was.

Saw six does and fawns this afternoon.  Had one at 90 yards and missed... :bonk:

seen twenty five deer last night not one buck, I was wondering , maybe the bucks are dropping antlers?  Anyway I will be filling tag this week no matter what, since the ice fishing has heated up.

About 90% of the bucks on my property are nocturnal right now. I have a turnip plot that is getting demolished and I have had two bucks in there during light... and then a third that I shot last Friday. Don't get discouraged and don't pressure them right now, they will come.

Not unheard of but a very small percentage would drop this early.

I would agree.  Seems to occur in January into February I believe.

Took the loader out and uncovered some food plot to make it easy for them at noon. They must not have liked me monkeying around. Didn't see a thing last night.
