Got this email today - I thought it was pretty neat!  It would be awesome to see one of these out in the woods, I guess they are more rare than the Albino deer.
Anyone seen an albino deer out in the woods?  I would assume not, but who knows, I think they had one in a deer park I went to once....

Deer farm over by Winona had 5 of the white deer for sale on Craigslist, not sure if they were Albino or just white whitetails?? Martin's Game Farm I think.  That would be quite a conversation piece as folks drive by!

I have frequented the Winona deer park at Praire Island - Im sure thats not the one you are talking about, but I havent seen an albino in there.
That sure would be an interesting conversation piece, I would buy some and let them free on my land - not shoot them, but see what they grow up like.  If there is a mature albino buck - I would shoot it, but thats about it.
Very cool deer though, I agree!

The Winona park has a dandy buck in it though!

Here is a link off public television about a herd of White deer in N. WI.

Cool video - those white deer are pretty neat to see in Winter.
Here is a picture of the buck in the Winona deer park.... Snapped it earlier in the year with my phone.  It was him and a spike with a doe and either 1 or 2 fawns.

There used to be a park in Willmar that had a couple deer in it. There was a massive buck in there. One night a couple guys went in there with 2x4's and chased the deer around and into the fence so much they had to be put down. I wonder who ended up with the big rack? I remember the bases were the size of beer cans.

I lived in Winona from 1991-1998.  I visted the deer park many times.  There were two huge bucks there during that time.  Some SOB killed one of the bucks with an arrow and my kids and I were so disappointed.  I'm glad they still have the park.  Across the river from Winona one of the schools have a full mounted albino buck in it's entry way.  I think it was Buffalo City.

My folks live near Isanti and there is an albino deer (doe) around there place.  The neighbor bow hunts near the rum river and has seen it a few times from his stand.
