who hunts muzzle loader?

what do you do?  can you still use any scent then, or is the rut over?  Do you just sit there over your bait? 
kidding.... do you just sit and hope?  or does calling or scents still work?

bfg, calling and or scents never work for me no matter what the season 
we just look for honey holes that the deer have piled into during the rifle season. pine plantations or balsam thickets that border aspen slashes are good bets.
also the bottom edges of woodlots down where they turn into tag alders are a good option as well.
by muzlim loader season, the deer seem to settle down a little. only seems to take one shot though to get them on the run again.

I would say that it just depends on how late in the season they go into rut.  I think this year that the scents and the calls will work, from what i've seen, I think they went into rut late this year.
