I bird it one of the next things I need to put on the wall.  I havent even shot a turkey yet - so I guess that comes first  :doah:  A pheasant is there, along with the turkey, hopefully this year.  The wall is a little bare.

Auggie, do you freeze dry the real heads on those Turkeys?  or do you replicate them?

That is a nice looking Big Ole Bird!   :happy1:  A real art!!!

I freezedry them. A little more realistic IMO. The repros aren't bad except they lack the real feathers that are on the head of a turkey. The feathers can be put on a repro head but the only realistic way I have seen it done is a very time consuming process.

usually I think turkeys are the ugliest things out there ... but that one would look good in my "room".
