Hunting is not life and death. It is more important than that.

The Wright Cty lakes (Pelican, Constance, Beebe) have 16-18 inches.  Grindstone has 17-18 if I remember correctly.
Take a kid hunting and fishing... It'll be the best thing for generations to come.

I vote we boycott Canada. Tell them to keep their sub-zero temps to themselves. We got enough ice now.

Osakis is running 18-19. Top 6 is mainly white ice. Lots of snow cover on top of that.

Yep, same here.  She took a job as an observer for the Alaska Department of Fish and Game out on a crab fishing boat.  She spent about a month and a half in Anchorage for training and shipped out of Dutch Harbor on the "Kodiak" this past Saturday for the Opelio Crab fishing season.  I understand they had 70mph wind gusts and 30-40 foot waves out on the Bearing Sea this past week.  Wish I could hear from her but won't until they offload their catch.  Could be a couple weeks, could be a month.  She's slated to be out at sea for 3 months.

You have to be proud of her Joe   :happy1:
