A Devils Lake Senator wants to ban hunting over the internet...

While it sounds far fetched... Senator Dave Oehlke says hunting over the internet is going on in other states.

As of 2008 40 states have banned internet hunting.

Supporters of the bill call internet hunting unethical.

(Sen. Dave Oehlke / (R) Devils Lake) "People pay big money to do internet hunting and frankly if you've ever watched a video on it; it's like playing a wii game. But it's no game. This type of activity in my perspective is enough to make a billy goat puke."

The North Dakota Game and Fish Department says they are not aware of internet hunting happening in the state.

He says they are also concerned about people using remote controls to hunt game in the state

The Earth just keeps spinning faster all the time. I see no reason to ban it. It is possibly a new industry that if game laws were adhered to and not wasted go to town!
I would be very nervous standing on the business end of a remote control gun.

From what I have read and seen this does not even exist. Apparemtly there was a site in 2005 that attempted to launch this but was crap down almost right away. I've been looking for a web site that actually offers this but am unable to locate any. Not that I want to partake but just to see if it actually exists.
