It looks like a mild week of weather is coming up. We started out this morning above 30 degrees and it looks like we may even experience 40 degrees this week. The nice weather could certainly make for a great week fishing.

We’re going to make a move with our houses the next few days. The suspended Walleye bite has slowed down out in 33-36 feet of water off of Pine Island. We are also starting to see more Tullibee move in. There is little pressure out that deep by us, therefore we may just slide the houses a mile or so. Hopefully getting over some new fish will revive the bite. We’ll find out in the next few days. Our road heading out there is still in good shape, but there is a lot of snow on the ice. The warmer weather certainly could bring some slush out onto the plowed roads this week.

We’re still seeing good numbers of fish coming from our group of houses between Knight and Bridges. It’s still more Saugers than Walleye. With the warmer temperatures we are going to have to watch a few cracks and pressure heaves every day. A few of them are already fluctuating today.

Fish ON!
