Now the real secret is that the walleye/pike season is open ALL year with no closed season on the ND border.... ie the Red River, fishing in Minnesota.   BTW not bad walleye and sauger fishing at times.  Its open until April 14th on the canadian border waters...LOTW, Saganaga etc

Me, Mrs Katfish, the son and daughter will spend the last weekend on Mille Lacs out of Garrison
Bay.  Leaving tomorrow about 10 am. With the cold, the girls will stay in the warm rental, while
the boy and I chase the perch ( he has to try out his new Lowrance X67c Ice Machine ). So hopefully I will be posting some pics upon return. May the fish gods smile upon us
I am the luckiest husband, my wife, Mrs Katfish brings home fishin lures instead of shoes n clothes......

They are warm too.  I got mine from Wildlife.  I have not fished in a shelter all winter.  No, I take that back I fished with Wildlife in a shelter this winter.   I hope to get the boots next winter.  I figure I can win enough off the General in side bets this summer to get a couple of pairs.   :rotflmao:
