How much repair, cleaning, and painting do you put into your decoys?

I haven't touched mine in 3+ years and I probably won't do more than check the weights.

Well.....myself and Finnpower take the time to fill in the holes that you shoot through them! :rotflmao: and I love re-painting them also....somewhat theraputic(sp) for me. I love putting a little spin on the paint jobs too, all ducks don't look a like you know.

Therapeutic?     So I mistaken a decoy for a duck one day, let it go. Just let it go.

Just paint the heads orange, that way big red won't shoot them. I have never painted one yet. I just check the cords and weights.

Handle every stressful situation like a dog.  If
you can't eat it or hump it.

Piss on it and walk away

For canadas I re-flock the heads on my full bodies as needed. I also have flocked all the heads on my shells and floaters. It realy looks awesome. I repainted all the white parts on my floaters as well. As for repairing holes... I just don't shoot my decoys in the first place! It can me hard to tell, but if you look really really close you can tell them form the actual birds!  :rotflmao:
