Here is a couple photos of the mess left behind after the deer attacked several hay bales.
Notice the "poop trail" between bales.

This last year I bought 3 round bales to feed them They ate the first bale in less than a week. Then we went to Vegas so I put 2 more out and they only ate part of each one. They love a little corn also. Must have found 2 or 3 sets of antlers by them.

Are you leaving out typical hay bales or more alfalfa, clover, etc.?
Take a kid hunting and fishing... It'll be the best thing for generations to come.

These bales were good hay.  Clover and alfalfa mix.  They were on a small 5 acre field that my brother in law lets a local farmer plant.  He didn't get the bales off last fall and by the time he could get to them this spring, they were mostly gone.  I looked around the bales and found one small 3 point antler.  I followed the massive poop trails into the woods but didn't find any sheds there.  One thing is for certain, there must be a lot of deer around.   :rotflmao:
